Os indicados ao Emmy Awards 2014 foram revelados na manhã desta quinta (10) em um evento transmitido ao vivo pela internet, apresentado por Mindy Kaling e Carson Daly.
A 66ª edição do prêmio, um dos mais importantes da TV, vai acontecer no dia 25 de agosto no Nokia Theatre, em Los Angeles, nos Estados Unidos.
A série "Game of thrones" e a minissérie "Fargo" lideram a premiação, concorrendo em 19 e 18 categorias, respectivamente.
"American Horror Story: Coven" aparece em seguida, indicado em 17 categorias, e "Breaking bad" empata com "Normal Heart", com 16 indicações.
A HBO foi a emissora que mais se destacou, com 99 indicações - segundo o site da revista "Variety".
O Netflix teve 31 indicações, incluindo as de melhor comédia e melhor drama para "Orange is the New Black" e "House of Cards".

Como destaque, as duas indicações para a atual sensação da TV americana, Jimmy Fallon.
O comediante ganhou uma indicação de Melhor ator convidado em série de comédia - por sua participação em 'Saturday Night Live' - e também por Melhor Programa de Variedades - por ter tornado o mais antigo talk-show da TV americana, o 'Tonight Show', novamente um dos programas mais assistidos da NBC.
Fallon estreou no 'Tonight Show' em fevereiro último e desde então, é líder em audiência.
